WE NEED HCLC!! Habersham Christian Learning Center Community Summit

Habersham Christian Learning Center is in danger of closing! It would seem with Christians being disheartened about prayer being removed from schools; along with Christianity and the name of Jesus being under attack, we would not want to see this unique organization fade away.

HCLC has for over 30 years been an elected option where high school students have prayer, are taught moral and ethical behavior, Christ’s principals, and various other Biblical skills by certified high school teachers. Note this organization does not receive any state or federal funding and is totally supported by Churches, individuals, civic organizations, etc. Students elect the classes, do not pay tuition, receive high school credit, and they are bused by HCLC to its nearby classrooms, then returned after class. Please note over 60% of these students are un-churched, and there is a waiting list!! HCLC has three certified teachers and they are in need of another teacher to help meet the demand.

Please forward this message to whom you feel led. To learn more, we pray you and Church members and other Leaders in the community will attend the Habersham Christian Learning Center Summit 7:00 PM August 18, 2016 at the Habersham EMC Community Room in Clarkesville.
